RX

RX Partners works alongside a small number of founders, shareholders, families and organisations on the objectives that matter to them.

Our work begins with the objective rather than a predetermined range of services. Depending on the circumstances, that can mean drawing together relationships, specialist expertise, commercial perspective and the capabilities required around an opportunity, challenge or longer-term priority.

The work is deliberately broad because the objectives themselves rarely sit neatly within a single category.

Relationships

RX has been built through long-standing relationships across business, investment and institutions internationally.

The value of those relationships is not simply access. Relationships developed over time create context: an understanding of people, credibility, interests, circumstances and where genuine alignment may exist.

That understanding informs judgement: who is relevant, when to bring people together, where particular expertise sits, whether interests genuinely align and how an opportunity or difficult objective might best be approached.

A contact can be recorded in a database. A relationship cannot.

It is the depth and context accumulated around those relationships that matters.

Judgement

Knowing the right people is only useful when accompanied by the judgement to understand when, how and whether relationships should be brought together. RX combines those relationships with experience, commercial perspective and an understanding of the people and circumstances involved. The right course is not always to act. Judgement also means knowing when not to.

Across boundaries

The objectives around which RX works can cross conventional professional, commercial and geographic boundaries. They may require different combinations of people, expertise, relationships and perspective at different times. RX is deliberately not organised around a catalogue of services. Where specialist expertise is required, we work with the people and organisations best suited to the objective rather than attempting to replicate every capability internally.

Private by nature

Much of RX’s work originates through long-standing relationships and personal introductions. Individual mandates, counterparties and relationships are therefore rarely appropriate for public discussion. The people behind RX, the way we work and the relationships built over time provide a better explanation of the organisation than a catalogue of transactions or claims.

We choose to say relatively little about them.

We choose to say relatively little about them.

RX Private Office

One expression of this approach is RX Private Office. Working closely alongside founders, shareholders and families, the Private Office is built around the individual and their objectives rather than a predetermined range of services.

People

RX is led by Founder & Chairman Ross Hatcher and CEO & Partner Paul O’Dea, supported by an Advisory Board whose experience spans business, investment, law, technology and international institutions.
