Privacy Notice
Last updated: 23 September 2026
1. Who we are and how to contact us
This notice explains how RX Partners Ltd collects and uses personal information through this website and in connection with enquiries, introductions and business communications. RX Partners Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 10839581 and is the controller for this website.
Where you deal with RX Private Office Ltd, company number 14274856, that company is responsible for the personal information it uses for its own activities. References to “RX”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the relevant company in that context. We will identify the relevant entity when an engagement is established and provide further privacy information where the work requires it.
For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email enquiries@rxpartners.co.uk, marked “Privacy”, or write to RX Partners Ltd, Fourth Floor, 35 Dover Street, Mayfair, London W1S 4NQ, United Kingdom. This is our correspondence address.
2. Scope of this notice
This notice covers website visitors, people who contact us, professional contacts and people introduced to us in connection with prospective business relationships. A separate engagement or activity may require additional information about the relevant purposes, recipients and retention arrangements. This notice does not replace any more specific privacy information we give you.
3. Information we collect and where it comes from
- Information you provide: your name, email address, telephone number, role, organisation, professional details and the contents of correspondence or documents you choose to send us.
- Introductions and professional sources: relevant contact, role and background information supplied by principals, colleagues, advisers, counterparties or professional contacts. Where relevant to a prospective relationship, we may also consult public sources such as company registers and professional websites.
- Technical information: information associated with website requests, such as IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, request time and security or error events, which may be recorded by website and hosting infrastructure.
Please do not send sensitive personal information, identity documents or confidential material through an initial unsolicited email unless we have agreed an appropriate way to receive it. Where a particular engagement requires additional categories of information, we will explain the applicable arrangements.
4. Why we use information and our lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries and managing introductions: our legitimate interests in communicating with contacts and considering relevant opportunities. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, the pre-contractual basis may apply.
- Managing professional relationships and carrying out agreed work: performance of a contract where you personally are a party; otherwise our legitimate interests in conducting our business and communicating with the people involved.
- Operating, maintaining and protecting the website and systems: our legitimate interests in reliable services, security, fraud prevention and investigating misuse.
- Keeping records required by law or responding to binding legal requirements: compliance with the relevant legal obligation.
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims: our legitimate interests in protecting our legal rights.
- Activities for which consent is appropriate or legally required: your consent, which you may withdraw without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Reliance on legitimate interests is subject to a balancing of those interests against your rights and interests. We do not treat consent as a condition for processing that is properly carried out on another lawful basis.
5. Website cookies, fonts and marketing
RX does not use website analytics or advertising tracking and does not operate a mailing list. The public website has no enquiry form, newsletter registration or public user-account facility.
Website administration, security or consent-preference functions may use necessary cookies or similar technologies. Administrator login cookies relate to authorised administrators, not a public registration service. Browser settings allow you to manage stored cookies, although blocking necessary functionality can affect how a service works.
The website uses externally hosted fonts, including Adobe Fonts. Loading those fonts makes a request to the provider and can disclose technical request information such as your IP address and browser details. The provider’s own privacy information also applies to its handling of those requests.
If we introduce analytics, marketing technologies or other new uses of cookies, we will update the relevant information and provide any consent or objection mechanism required by applicable law before using them. Merely continuing to browse is not treated as consent where consent is required.
6. Who may receive information
We do not sell personal information. Where necessary for the purposes explained above, information may be shared with hosting, email, IT and security providers; professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and insurers; relevant counterparties or specialists involved in a matter; and authorities, courts or other persons where disclosure is legally required or otherwise lawful.
We limit disclosures to what is appropriate for the purpose. Providers acting on our behalf must be subject to appropriate data-protection arrangements. Some advisers, counterparties and technology providers act as independent controllers and are responsible for their own processing.
7. International processing and transfers
Our activities and professional relationships may involve people and providers outside the United Kingdom. Where a disclosure or overseas access is a restricted international transfer, an appropriate lawful transfer route is required. This may include applicable UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, together with any required assessment and supplementary measures.
You may contact us to ask about the countries, recipients and safeguards relevant to your information and to request a copy or explanation of applicable safeguards, subject to necessary redactions to protect confidential information or others’ rights. Specific arrangements depend on the matter and providers involved.
8. How long we keep information
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. The criteria include whether an enquiry remains active; whether there is an ongoing relationship or engagement; the type and sensitivity of the information; applicable legal, accounting or regulatory record-keeping duties; and the need to establish or defend legal claims.
Technical and security records should be retained for the period needed to operate, secure and investigate the relevant systems. Backup copies may remain until they are overwritten under the applicable backup cycle. A preservation requirement relating to a dispute or legal obligation may justify longer retention. You may ask us for the criteria or period applicable to a particular record.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. Access should be limited to those who need it for the relevant purpose. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable exemptions, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, or portability of information where that right applies. You may withdraw consent where we rely on it. These rights are not absolute and do not necessarily require deletion of records we must or are entitled to retain.
Your right to object: you may object, on grounds relating to your situation, to processing based on legitimate interests. We must stop that processing unless a lawful exception applies. If information is ever used for direct marketing, you have an absolute right to object to that use, including related profiling.
Send requests to enquiries@rxpartners.co.uk. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or clarify a request. We will respond within the applicable statutory time limits and explain any lawful extension, fee or refusal where relevant.
11. Providing information and automated decisions
You do not have to provide contact information merely to browse this website. If you choose not to provide information needed to respond to an enquiry or establish an engagement, we may be unable to progress it. Any specific contractual or legal requirement will be explained in the relevant context.
The public website does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you through solely automated processing.
12. Concerns and complaints
You can raise a concern with us using the contact details above. You also have the right to complain directly to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office; you do not have to obtain our permission or await our response. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or contact the ICO at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF.
13. External links and changes
External websites operate under their own privacy arrangements. We may update this notice to reflect changes to our activities, technology or legal requirements. The date above identifies the latest revision. Where a material change affects how we use your information, we will provide further notice where required.
