Ross Hatcher

Group Founder & Chairman
Ross Hatcher is Group Founder & Chairman of RX. He established the group in 2017 as his private office, bringing together his business interests and the long-standing relationships he had built across business and institutional markets.
That origin continues to shape RX’s approach. Ross places particular importance on emotional intelligence: understanding people, their motivations and the dynamics that influence significant decisions. His approach centres on trust earned over time, discretion and a long-term perspective—qualities that matter when working closely with principals and senior institutional leaders.
As RX has developed, this philosophy has remained central: begin with the individual and their objectives, understand the wider context, and bring together the judgement, relationships and capabilities needed to realise a specific outcome.
Ross’s business interests and holdings span various sectors, including legal services, wealth management, technology and sport. This breadth brings an owner’s perspective to his work, connecting commercial experience with an understanding of the personal priorities and responsibilities behind business decisions.
Before founding RX, Ross was a Director at MINT in London, part of BGC Partners, working within Structured Products and Alternative Assets. His work focused on asset-backed securities and European technology investment portfolios.
He joined MINT in 2015 following his role as Vice President of ECO Capacity Exchange, part of RECIPCO Holdings, a platform developed around the exchange of illiquid asset-backed forms of credit between global institutions. He remains an adviser to the business.
Earlier in his career, Ross worked at Novus Capital Markets in corporate finance, with a particular focus on technology and renewable-energy investments. He began his professional career at Ferrari.
His experience across institutional markets, entrepreneurial businesses and his own interests informs the group’s approach: personal understanding, commercial judgement and the ability to facilitate significant objectives.
